Johnson County Little League Season concludes
All-Star teams now preparing to play
The Johnson County Little League softball and baseball season concluded with a swimming party at Cunningham Park on June 23rd with tee-ball teams enjoying the pool until afternoon, when the boys’ and girls’ minor and major leagues took over.
The final standings are as follows:
Minor League Girls – Team USA finished first followed by the Lady Longhorns and the Lady Yankees.
Minor League Boys – The White Sox finished first with a 5-0 record. The Angels took second place followed by the Cubs and the Braves.
Major League Girls – The Lady Dodgers took first with a perfect 7-0 season. The Lady Angels were second followed by the Lady Vols, and the Lady Yankees.
Major League Boys – The Raiders took first place going 9-3. The Diamondbacks were on their heels with seven wins and three losses. The Pirates finished third followed by the Dodgers, Dawgs and Longhorns.
