Statehouse Reporter
This reporter covers state senators and representatives from Northeast Tennessee as they work on legislation of local relevance. This includes affordable housing, health care, the environment, Hurricane Helene relief and recovery, transportation, business, education and tourism. This position is based in Nashville, the state capital.
Health Reporter
The reporter will report on both physical and mental health. Coverage of emerging trends, disease prevention, wellness, mental health issues and treatment, disparities in healthcare costs, use of AI in predictive medicine, the nursing shortage, exercise, food, nutrition, leisure, fitness, healthy participant sports and activities.
